"After years of exploring traditional music and imaginary folklore, I wanted to move on to other more contemporary horizons. By separating and amplifying the left and right keyboards of my accordion, I changed the classic acoustic sound using amplifiers and effects pedals. Playing in duet with a drummer allows me to be alone on the melodic and harmonic field and to be able to exploit the spontaneity that arises in the trance of a concert. After the long journey with Bratsch and a beautiful road already well marked out with Lalala Napoli, the electric adventure with Virage opens up a new path for me.” François Castiello
